Do I need a permit to remove a pool in San Antonio?

Usually yes for an in-ground pool. Pool removal is not on the city's No Permit Required list. Above-ground pools do not need a demolition permit. Ask the city's Development Services Department what your job needs.

Do you remove pools?

Does this cost me anything?

No. Our help is free. You never have to hire anyone.

What is the difference between full and partial removal?

Full removal takes out the whole pool. Partial removal breaks out the top, drills drain holes, and fills the rest. Ask the city what your job needs.

Who gets the permit?

Usually the company. Ask the City of San Antonio Development Services Department what your job needs.

Do I need to call 811?

Yes. Texas law says whoever digs must contact 811 two business days before digging. If you hire a company, they should call.

Where does the debris go?

The city's demolition permit form says demolition debris must go to an approved, permitted landfill. Ask the company.

Will you share my info?

Only if you check the consent box. Then we may share your request with up to 3 independent local companies. We never sell it to list sellers or spammers.

Can you give me a price?

No. We are not a contractor. See what changes the price on our cost page.
